Art 21: Season 1 Identity has an artist who rocks in my opinion. He's influenced my work and it relates a lot to my AG project a lot.
Kerry James Marshall made a piece called "RYTHM MASTR". In it he tries to make african sculpture into comic book heroes. I've been working on comic book narratives and using gods of the post-colonial subjects in a very similar fashion. Anyone interested should check him out.
